aespa’s Ningning Named New Face of Discovery Expedition

Premium lifestyle brand Discovery Expedition has tapped Ningning of aespa as its new brand ambassador and is officially rolling out its 2026 SS season campaign.

Discovery Expedition (hereafter “Discovery”) plans to use this ambassador appointment as a springboard to propose an expanded brand direction centered on “active wellness,” moving beyond an outdoor lifestyle brand and clearly positioning itself for consumers who enjoy a healthy, active life in their everyday routines.

This season’s key offerings, unveiled through Ningning’s polished yet trend-forward 26SS campaign shoot, spotlight a lineup of padded jackets and windbreakers that maximize lightweight performance and functionality—delivering both function and style.

A key item, the “Primaloft padded jacket,” uses high-performance Primaloft insulation to deliver lightweight warmth along with excellent water repellency and moisture management. It retains insulation even when wet and dries quickly, and features a windproof, water-repellent stretch woven fabric and a semi-oversized fit. In particular, its two-way zipper allows for versatile styling.

The “Women’s Vertex 2L crop jacket” enhances performance with the brand’s in-house developed 2L Vertex fabric, offering high breathability, windproof protection, and UV blocking. Designed as an oversized jacket with a trendy semi-cropped length, it can be styled sleekly to suit different body types using the hem drawstring.

Optimized for high-intensity activities such as running, the “PERTEX running windbreaker” is made with lightweight, durable Pertex ripstop fabric. With a back ventilation structure that quickly releases heat and moisture during activity, plus a hem drawstring, zippered hand pockets, and more, it delivers both comfortable wear and practical storage.

A Discovery Expedition representative said, “Through this campaign with aespa’s Ningning, we aim to communicate more clearly to consumers the value of ‘active wellness’ that Discovery pursues,” adding, “With products that combine both functionality and style, we will continue to present urban active-wellness looks that move seamlessly between everyday life and workouts.”

Meanwhile, the season campaign video featuring Discovery’s new ambassador Ningning can be viewed on Discovery’s official YouTube and Instagram channels, and the new products featured in the campaign will be available at offline stores nationwide as well as the brand’s official online store.
